Good pants before the knees ripped, awkward belt loops. Have re-purchased.
Two pairs of pants being used 5 days a week lasted me 3 years before the knees finally tore and opened up on these. Im ordering two more, then going to cut up my old pair and stitch that over the knee holes on the other pair. I expect another long while out of them, but Im kneeling and squatting all day (I'm a gardener/landscaper/agricultural worker over the years) so the fabric finally thinned out to almost nothing. Like everyone else has said, the front two belt loops are smaller for some reason which means I cant tuck my belt end in. Otherwise they are comfortable, light weight work pants for being outdoors all day, can be layered with long underwear for the winter, and close enough in appearance to a khaki to be professional looking between field work and meeting with clients.

A Carhartt Dud
I am a fan of many Carhartt products but these are a major miss. These do not stretch, do not breathe, and have poorly placed practically useless pockets which baffles me bc the pockets on their standard double knee work pants work great. On top of that the knee tore within the first week of use. These are the worst thought out pants and maybe piece of clothing I have ever purchased. Stick with the duck canvas these have no advantages over them.

?Solid Pants?
Overall these are solid pants! These things are the perfect crossover between being lightweight and at the same time remaining durable enough for things like hand tools/tape measure (stuff like that) in pockets without ripping or wearing them out. The only thing that I would suggest fixing is the 2 belt loops in the front. They are significantly smaller than the rest making it fairly difficult to put on a belt. Otherwise these pants are a must if you work outdoors in the heat!

So comfortable and easy to work in. They give in all the rightplaces and support where needed as well.
